The Roseville City School District is currently taking applications for additional substitute teachers. Please click on this link to complete the application available on EdJoin. Include/upload all items as reflected on the EdJoin posting; copy of your credential, three letters of recommendation, and a current TB screening (within the last 60 days).
If you do not have a credential yet, please submit proof of a Bachelor’s Degree and CBEST scores with your application.
ALL qualified applicants, that meet the State requirements for a valid California teaching credential, at minimum a 30-day substitute credential, will be referred to Placer County Office of Education for processing through the PCOE consortium. In order to be considered for substitute teacher positions in the Roseville City School District candidates MUST be processed through Placer County Office of Education.
Processing with the Roseville City School District is by appointment only. When you have been cleared by Placer County Office of Education, please contact Substitute Services at (916) 771-1600 ext. 154. or Lnakamoto@rcsdk8.org. You will be contacted and an appointment will be scheduled for you to come in and be processed. PROCESSING IS NOT DONE ON A DROP IN BASIS.
You must hold a valid California Credential and have a Social Security Number to substitute in the Roseville City School District. We currently pay $110.00 for a full day assignment and $55.00 for a half day.
