Welcome to the Roseville City School District Technology Department webpage. Who is IT? We’re the ones who get IT done. You may know us by our work installing and supporting SMART Boards, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks, G-Suite (formerly Google Apps for Education), printers, multi-functional devices, wi-fi networks, document cameras, telephones, Q, SchoolMessenger, RenLearn, and so much more. Behind the scenes, we’re keeping the financial and human resources, library, food service, student information, Internet filtering and countless other systems up and running. Basically, if it plugs into a wall (and doesn’t make food), we’ve got our hands in it.
***** NOTICE *****
On July 17th, 2017, Technology Services will be transitioning from SecureAuth to our new platform, Tools4Ever, enabling our District to synchronize staff and student data in real-time for third-party applications like Google Apps, PowerSchool, Escape, Destiny, and Clever! Shortly after staff return in August, we will turn on Password Management enabling staff to set up security questions, and manage their own passwords.
During transition, we have set up website redirects to avoid any disruption with accessing your account. What this means for you..
- Usernames and passwords have NOT changed, but you will be asked to log in again from any device you are using to access your District email and Google Apps.
- If you have bookmarked gmail.rcsdk8.org, it may no longer be active. Please feel free to bookmark it again from your preferred web browser (i.e. Google Chrome, Firefox, and/or Safari).
Please check back soon for additional details and updates!
