I was born in Cimarron Chico, Jalisco, Mexico and lived
there until I was 15. My family moved to Sacramento where I
attended Sacramento High School. After high school I went to
Sacramento City College for two years and then graduated from
Sacramento State with a BA in History and Spanish.
I have taught in the
Roseville City School District since 1975 at Kaseberg Elementary and
Buljan Middle School. I'm currently the Academic Dean and
Assistant Principal.
I have been married to
my wife Juanita since 1980. We have 3 grown children, 2 boys
and 1 girl. In my spare time I like to coach soccer at
Roseville High School.
I believe that coaching is teaching.
To be a good teacher and a good coach you have to teach from the
heart.
