What Is The PTC?
We are a non-profit organization comprised of parents, teachers and staff providing numerous benefits to our great school with YOUR help. There are many exciting changes happening at Eich Intermediate and whether you are a new or returning parent, you probably want to know what's going on at your child's school. Attending PTC meetings is the perfect way to "be in the know" and to get to know the Principal, staff and fellow parents.
Meetings are held monthly and are generally the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Join us & have a say in what goes on at your child's school!
Don't Have Time To Be A Member?!
Our membership drive is kicking off on Orientation night and we hope YOU will become a member. The best part is - you do not have to attend meetings to become a member! All you have to do to is complete the PTC envelope with your paid membership and return it to your child's home room teacher or the school office. Envelopes can be found in the front office, or in your First Day Packets. We have great things planned for this year and we really need and appreciate your support.
How Can You Help?
Let me count the ways there are many ways to support your child, his/her teachers & their school:
· Become a PTC Member: complete the envelope, include your membership dues & return to your homeroom or the school office. EASY!
· Purchase a School Calendar: Keep informed and organized with our beautiful full color calendar – look for order forms in your back to school packet.
· Sign up for Escrip. Wow! Easy money with no out of pocket cost to you. Go to Escrip.com and register your Safeway cards and/or credit cards, or contact Debbie at 783-2654 and she can do it for you!

· Fundraisers: Read the school newsletters, e-mail bulletins and the school website for fundraising opportunities and show your support by participating in the fundraisers.
· Advertise: Do you or a friend own a business? Will your employer sponsor Eich?
Sponsor next year's School Calendar: Only $50 to sponsor a full month - exclusive advertising! Call Stacy Ball (916) 390-4047 before for calendar sponsoring opportunities.
Purchase a Business Banner in GYM: At a cost of only $250 your business banner will hang in our gymnasium for an entire year! Renewals only $150 per year. What a great way to show your company's support of our school! Contact Wendy Heldt at 784-6950 for details.
· Attend PTC Meetings: The PTC meetings are open to all parents and whether you can attend all, a few, or just one – we would love to have you there. Share your ideas and get involved – you won't regret it!
· Volunteer for Events: We have many things planned for the year and we need your help! Look for the Volunteer Form in your Back to School packet to volunteer your time for special events, or contact Stacy Ball.
We are very excited about the upcoming school year and we hope we have the opportunity to get to know you!
