Substitute Teachers

To substitute in the Roseville City School District you must hold a valid California Credential and have a Social Security Number. We are currently paying $90.00 for a full day assignment and $50.00 for a half day.

Processing is by appointment only. Prior to making an appointment with us you must complete substitute processing with Placer County Office of Education (530) 886-5864.

When you have completed a certificated application and have been cleared by Placer County Office of Education, please contact Substitute Services at (916) 771-1600 ext. 9122. You will be contacted and an appointment will be scheduled for you to come in and be processed.

Classified Substitutes

For any classified positions open for subbing please check under Job Openings for on-call, as needed or substitute. Once you've completed and submitted a classified application you may contact Substitute Services at (916) 771-1600 ext 122 to inquire about processing.
