The mission of the Roseville City School District’s
Gifted and Talented Education Program is to identify and serve gifted and high achieving students, from all represented student groups in the District. Through highly motivating self-contained classrooms and appropriate placement in classroom clusters, we provide instruction rich in learning opportunities based on grade level standards extended by depth, complexity and acceleration. It is the goal of this program to provide all students we serve with the tools necessary to reach their full academic and personal potential.
Currently the program offers cluster groupings at the fourth grade level, with self contained programs at the 5th and 6th grades. Self contained sections for Language Arts and Mathematics are provided in 7th and 8th grades.
