- School Site Report, Sargeant Elementary School: Sargeant Elementary School staff will showcase Sargeant’s data, the programs that are offered to students, and student/family engagement opportunities.

i-Ready Data Update and End-of-Year Assessment Timeline: The most recent Window 2 i-Ready results will be presented to the Board of Education, informing our District’s instructional practices and driving our professional development decisions to meet our students’ academic needs. We also use the information to evaluate programs and systems funded by our Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) to ensure we provide increased and improved services to students who need additional resources. The presentation will also include the timeline for state and local assessments in the Roseville City School District for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year.

2025-26 Comprehensive School Safety Plans: The Board of Education will be asked to approve the 2025-2026 Comprehensive School Safety Plans for the Roseville City School District. Every school site reviews and updates comprehensive school safety plans annually per the California Educational Code and Board Policy. Plans are approved by each School Site Council (SSC) or Safety Committee before being submitted to the Board for approval.

Board of Education approve the School Facilities Enrollment & Funding: The Board of Education will be asked to approve the District’s plan to move forward with the construction of Placer One as a TK-8 school site based on the District’s enrollment projection study presented at the January 22, 2026, Board Meeting and further discussed at the Special Meeting – Board Workshop: New School Financing on February 12, 2026. The original presentation provided an overview of the District’s enrollment projection study and a review of the District’s new school funding sources. The information is intended to support the Board of Education in determining the most effective strategies to plan for and accommodate the District’s projected enrollment growth.

Mid-Year LCAP Report and 2026-2027 LCAP Timeline: According to the California Department of Education, all charter schools, school districts, and county offices of education are required to present a report on the annual update to the LCAP and the LCFF Budget Overview for Parents on or before February 28 of each year at a regularly scheduled meeting of the LEA’s governing board or body. This evening, the RCSD staff will deliver a comprehensive update on the 2025-26 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) progress. This presentation will encompass critical metrics, the latest available data, ongoing actions, and the most up-to-date budget actuals. The Board of Education will also be updated on the upcoming 2026-2027 LCAP timeline for feedback, draft, and Board approval.
