Expanded Learning Opportunities
ELO-P

The expanded learning opportunities program focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical needs of unduplicated pupils through: extended instructional learning time, accelerating learning, integrating student supports, and supporting staff professional development. ELO-P provides free, after school care, for our unduplicated students each school day (beginning right after school and ending at 6:00 pm).

Our unduplicated pupils include students who qualify for one or more programs: Free and Reduced Lunch, English Learner, Foster Youth, and McKinney-Vento (students experiencing homelessness).

ELO-P will provide care for an additional 30 days throughout the year when students are not in school. The 30 days for the 25-26 school year include:

  • October 31
  • November 10
  • November 24-26
  • December 19
  • December 29-31
  • January 2

  • January 19
  • February 9
  • February 16
  • March 30-April 3
  • April 6
  • June 1-5
  • June 8-12

ELO-P is provided for all unduplicated students in TK- 6th grade. This extended day program is a partnership between Roseville City School District (RCSD) and a partner named Right at School. Right at School will provide the staffing and a daily program focused on academic support and enrichment, interventions, social-emotional wellness and support, and more! Each day starts with a community meeting and snack, and the fun continues from there.

Please visit Right at School for more information. Students who qualify for ELO-P will receive additional information from RCSD along with registration information in the Spring.
