Verification of Residency

As our community continues to expand, we’re doing our best to keep pace while maintaining fairness, accuracy, and excellence in serving every student. With that in mind, beginning with the 2026-27 school year, all families – both new and returning - will be required to submit current Proof of Residency during registration. This annual verification ensures that every student is enrolled in the correct school based on their home address and helps us plan effectively for our rapidly growing community.

We acknowledge that this is a new requirement for many families, and we appreciate your understanding and partnership as we implement this important update. The 2026–27 school year brings many new and exciting changes to our District – keeping residency information up to date is more important than ever to ensure accurate school placements, staffing, and resource planning that reflect our community’s true needs.

Please note that the following are the only acceptable forms of Proof of Residency:

  • Signed New Home Sales Agreement
  • Current Mortgage Statement
  • Current Utility Bill (Roseville City Utilities or PG&E only)
