The Roseville City School District (RCSD) originally planned for an elementary school within the Amoruso Ranch Development, with funding expected from developer fees. However, due to a significant funding shortfall, the school will not be built. The estimated cost to build a school by 2029 is $100 million, while the District will receive $41 million from developer fees, leaving a $59 million gap. Despite ongoing discussions with the developer and the exploration of other revenue streams, no additional funds have been secured.
On May 22, the RCSD Board of Education voted to approve the consolidation of RCSD preschool programs at Woodbridge School starting in the 2026-27 school year.
Planning is taking place during the 2025-26 school year for TK-5 Woodbridge students to attend Kaseberg in 2026-27.
