Recent Phone Updates

  • Park: Allows you to place a call on hold, so it can be retrieved from another phone
  • Pickup (Ring or No Ring): Allows one to answer someone else’s call.

Phone FAQ’s

How to enable auto answer:

  1. Press blue button on phone
  2. Select “Superkey” from the menu that is displayed
  3. Answer “No” from the menu at the top of your screen
  4. Continue selecting “No” until you see “Auto Answer”
  5. Select “Turn On”

How to Check voicemail on another phone:

  1. Pick up handset
  2. Press the Voicemail key
  3. Press *
  4. Enter Extension
  5. Press *
  6. Enter Password

Voicemail – Outside of the District:

  1. Dial the District’s Main Number: 916-771-1600
  2. Press *
  3. Wait for the voicemail greeting
  4. Enter a mailbox number + * – For example: [site code + extension] + *
  5. Enter your voicemail passcode
  6. Listen to messages

Transfer External Call to User’s Voicemail:

  1. Press the Voicemail Key
  2. Enter the mailbox extension: [site code + extension]

Set up Extended Absence Greeting:

  1. Press your voicemail key
  2. Enter voicemail password
  3. Press 8 for Change User Options
  4. Press 4 to Change your Greeting
  5. Press 4 to Change your Extended Absence Greeting
  6. Press 7 to Record

To enable the greeting: Press 3 as the last option instead of 7
