SDC offers Parents and/or Guardians of the Roseville City School District students, the option to purchase insurance independently for school-issued Chromebooks.


How much does it cost?
Insurance Coverage: August 2020 - August 2021

Covered Device: HP G3-G8 and Samsung School Issued Chromebooks

Full Coverage: $24.00 (One-Time Charge)

Deductible: $0.00

The option to purchase coverage has been EXTENDED to December 4th, 2020

There is no limit to the number of claims filed during the policy term. Unlimited Claims, Full Transferability, with No Deductible and No Hidden Fees!


What is covered?
Covering Damage, Loss, and Theft.

With SDC’s full coverage insurance, all risks outside of intentional damage, are covered events. Coverage is extended for the following:

  • Broken glass screen
  • Charger port failure
  • Theft
  • Broken LED/LCD displays
  • Accidental damage
  • Power surge, fire, and flood
  • Water damage
  • Loss
  • Vandalism
  • Touchscreen failure
  • Electrical failures
