Hello Boston Buddy Families!
My name is Tracy Nelson and I am a product of the Roseville City School District. I attended Crestmont, Warren T. Eich, and Oakmont, then completed my degree and credentialing program at Sacramento State. I have taught at Crestmont and Stoneridge Elementary for the past 21 years as a first, second, and third grade teacher. This is my second year being a Junction Jaguar and I am thrilled to be teaching with the first grade team. I am married to Ed, Mommy to Jason and my Boston Terrier, Tebow the Terror (I mean Terrier!) I am sure you will hear more about my little rascal, Tebow, throughout the year. I am excited about this year and know that it will be monumental in so many ways for all of us!
I taught third grade for many years and have now taught first grade for 4 years and I absolutely love it! It seems like every year I am more excited and I can’t wait to get started! I am so excited to be a Junction Jaguar and can’t wait to meet you and your family. My room number is 11, please stop by, I would love to meet you!
Mission Statement: I am passionate about my mission as a first grade teacher to motivate, inspire and encourage each child by providing a safe and nurturing environment as I educate my Boston Buddies socially, emotionally, and cognitively so they can achieve their highest potential.
