A few things about me: First, I LOVE my job as a school counselor and could not imagine a more wonderful place to work! I attended UC Santa Barbara where I received my bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Sociology, with a minor in Applied Psychology and Education. I then attended Sacramento State where I earned my Masters of Science in Counseling with a specialization in School Counseling and my Pupil Personnel Services Credential. I enjoy running, hiking, kayaking, reading, and learning new things!

What a school counselor does: As the only school counselor at Buljan Middle School I work on addressing the social, emotional, academic and career development of all students.  Using a brief solution-focused counseling orientation and evidence-based counseling techniques I work with students, staff, family, and community to help students succeed both academically and personally.
