This is my twentieth year teaching here at Stoneridge. I spent 18 years in Kindergarten and I am now in TK.  I love it!  I enjoy watching your little seeds bloom into flowers!!  There is such a tremendous amount of growth made during the transitional kindergarten year.  Your child will make so much growth right before your very eyes!

I have been married nearly twenty-seven years to my husband Shane, and we have two kids.  My son Chase is 22 and graduated from Chico State in May and is continuing on to get his Masters degree in Kinesiology. My son Colby graduated from Roseville High School in June and is moving on to play football at American River College.  They are, of course, my pride and joy!

Some of my favorite things to do are going to the beach and traveling with my family.  I love elephants, football (Go Packers!), baseball (Go Cubbies!), spending time with my friends, reading, and taking pictures (as you will soon find out if you are in my class!)  I always look forward to having an amazing school year!

My mission as a teacher is to provide a positive, nurturing, yet challenging environment for all students.  I want them to feel loved and supported and be excited about learning.  I believe relationships with both students and their families are the key to success. I want my students to be kind, productive citizens who are lifelong learners.  #TKFlock #iteachTK #relationshipsareimportant
