Hello! I am the proud music teacher for all K-5 students at Fiddyment Farm Elementary and Woodbridge Elementary. I specialize in play-based learning based upon the Orff Schulwerk methodology of music education. I pride myself in taking inspiration from the lessons of other talented music educators and finding ways to make make these ideas even more enjoyable for our students. In my program, students will explore xylophone, recorder, ukulele, drums, dance, music theory, and of course the human voice. It is not my goal to simply teach music. Students in our music program will also grow in their coordination, social skills, humor, confidence, and many other skills as well. Music offers benefits that reach far beyond the musical mind, and I aim to create experiences that leave students laughing, sharing, and thinking about our lessons each week!
