Hi Stoneridge families! I am so excited to be a part of the community at Stoneridge.
A little bit about me as an educator…
For as long as I can remember I have wanted to work with and serve children in some capacity. There are many things that have shaped me as an educator ranging from my own personal experiences with school to being a mom of two awesome children, Ian and Gabrielle. I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Human Development and received my credential from CSUS. I have worked with children in grades K-8 for 14 years.
One of my core beliefs as a teacher is to educate the whole child-socially, emotionally, and intellectually. I believe in fostering a strong sense of self in students through positive interactions and relationship building. I also believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Community, involving all members of the family, is key! I look forward to building that relationship with each of you!
A little bit about me…
I am married to Robb, and we have two amazing children, Ian and Gabrielle, who keep us busy and on our toes for sure. We have one mighty little dog, Milo who keep us on our toes too! I love to travel, get lost in a good book, walk the pup, and go to the beach (especially Dillon Beach.) Oh-and I love to cook! It is very therapeutic to me. Spending time with family and enjoying the day’s family antics over a good meal brings me great joy.
A few personal goals of mine are to exercise more often, stop to be spontaneous, and read throughout the entire year (not just during the summer months). I welcome you to be my accountability partners. :)
